About the work
What is RE:BEING?
A practice of returning to yourself, not as a finished project, but as a living relationship.
RE:BEING began with a question: what becomes possible when the body is treated as a place of knowing?
For years, Zoe taught in classrooms, studios, and community spaces. Across every setting, she noticed the same thing: people learn more deeply when they feel safe enough to be curious, confused, expressive, and unfinished.
RE:BEING brings that understanding into embodied practice. Movement becomes one language among many. Reflection, sound, conversation, rest, experimentation, and ritual become others.
The philosophy
Relationship precedes performance. Before technique, there is attention. Before correction, there is observation. Before expression, there is permission.
The goal is not to perform wellness correctly. The goal is to build a relationship with yourself sturdy enough to hold change, uncertainty, pleasure, responsibility, and possibility.
The learning cycle
Curiosity → Awareness → Confusion → Practice → Understanding → Embodiment → Integration.
Confusion is not failure here. It is often the threshold between what you already know and what you are becoming capable of knowing.
